Realising the true meaning of in sickness and in health with Breonna & Quinton Baker
It’s common for wedding vows to incorporate the phrase “in sickness and in health”. It highlights that in any long term relationship there will inevitably be days where things are great and others with challenges, not just relating to health. But how can we prepare ourselves and our relationship to be in the best possible place to do more than survive on those more challenging days. With intention and commitment, it’s totally possible to thrive through those challenges.
Breonna & Quinton are a wife and husband team who are passionate about each other and the relationships of others. In this episode they share some of the lessons they’ve learned from their own relationship and from guests on their own show. Together they’ve authored the book Confront the Conflict and Settle the Matter after they had their own lightbulb moment.
